I’m sure you’ve heard the news. The White House has announced a six-pronged plan that will effect millions of Americans. Like many of you, I initially cycled through anger + anxiety while reading through what is thought to be an effective measure against Covid-19. As I read through the plan, I wondered if those that created it had actually read the FDA’s Fact Sheets or manufacturer insert for these products. Do they realize the FDA itself discloses these products “limitations of effectiveness” and that there are already very serious known adverse reactions that could result in a weakened work force? In the same breath, this plan speaks of the effectiveness of these products enough to prevent Americans to gain/maintain employment while also preparing the public for boosters. They will be ready to administer them by Sept 20th. If a product failed the first time, why would it work the second? We were told last December that these products would be the path out of the pandemic. Now we’re almost a year later and cases are higher in addition to the hospitalizations of known adverse reactions from a product meant to keep us out of the hospitals.Based on some of the statements, I do not believe those crafting this plan truly understands these products. Here’s an example.
The above statement is in reference to boosters for the Covid-19 vaccines which are mRNA (Pfizer and Moderna) and adenovirus (Johnson & Johnson) vaccines. When referencing three-shot series, the writer gives Hep B and Tetanus as examples of other multi-series vaccines. Do they not realize these products are completely different technologies from the Covid-19 vaccines? Hep B is a Recombinant vaccine and Tetanus is a Toxoid vaccine. Is the author suggesting that the Covid-19 vaccines have the same limitation the HHS references and are not as effective as initially marketed?
Should Americans be forced to accept a product they don’t want and may not work as intended to gain or maintain employment? Do we want to set the precedent that the federal government is the deciding factor for our health? Even if you’re vaccinated, do you want this to be the reality going forward?

Remember, responsibility = authority.
If you are responsible for the outcome of a medical decision, then you also have authority to make that decision. For example, if you are responsible financially for the medical bills associated with a vaccine adverse reaction, then you have the authority to delay or decline that product. If you are responsible for lost wages because you cannot take a future booster after developing a contraindication to that product (such as anaphylaxis), then you have authority to delay or decline that product. Medical decisions without authority are not decisions, they are coercion. Medical coercion is not informed consent. The ability to delay or decline any or all medical products is required to have informed consent.
Informed consent is a basic human right.
Everyone deserves it.
